What These Terms Cover
These Terms of Service apply to your use of this website and to any service relationship you enter into with Flood Solutions Inc. located at 10153 Marine City Highway, Ira, MI 48023. Service Area and Estimates
Flood Solutions Inc. operates within Michigan. We reserve the right to decline service requests outside our active service area at our discretion.
Any estimate, quote, or scope of work provided, whether by phone, email, or in person, is not a binding contract. An estimate represents our best assessment of the work required based on visible or reported conditions at the time of inspection. Actual costs may change if concealed damage is discovered once work begins (for example, water behind drywall that was not detectable during the initial walkthrough). A signed work-authorization form, not a verbal or written estimate, governs the actual service relationship and defines the agreed scope, pricing, and timeline.
Payment Terms
Payment terms, accepted methods, and any deposit requirements will be stated on your signed work-authorization form. We coordinate directly with most major insurance carriers when a covered loss is involved, which can reduce or eliminate out-of-pocket costs depending on your policy. You remain responsible for any deductible, uncovered portion, or charges outside the approved claim scope. Flood Solutions Inc. does not guarantee coverage decisions made by your carrier.
Scope of Work and Liability
Flood Solutions Inc. is a licensed contractor operating under Michigan state regulations. Our liability is limited to the work described in your signed authorization. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, damage caused by delayed reporting of a loss, or outcomes resulting from work performed by other parties before or after our involvement.
We carry appropriate insurance for the work we perform. Proof of coverage is available upon request.
Insurance Coordination
When you authorize us to communicate with your insurance carrier, we will document the loss, photograph affected materials, and share necessary records to support your claim. We act as a contractor, not as a public adjuster or legal representative. Any final coverage determination rests with your carrier.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises from services rendered, both parties agree to first attempt resolution in good faith through direct communication. If that does not resolve the matter, disputes will be handled under Michigan law in the appropriate venue for Macomb County. These terms do not waive any rights you hold under Michigan consumer protection statutes.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as our services or legal obligations change. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
